Job Title: IMG CAD Support

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled IMG CAD Support professional with hands-on experience in Catia V5 to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and development of interior trims and exterior sheet metal parts, from concept to final design, within specified timelines. This role involves participating in design review meetings, providing solutions, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hands-on experience in Catia V5 for part, surface, and drawing creation.
• Leverage experience in V6/3DX as an added advantage.
• Conduct packaging studies and create master sections.
• Design and develop interior trims and exterior sheet metal parts from concept to final design, adhering to design requirements and timelines.
• Participate in design review meetings and offer effective solutions.
• Engage in benchmarking and cost reduction initiatives.
• Identify and resolve design-related issues during development until release.
• Understand prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly processes of interior and exterior parts.
• Work with Team Center and Vismockup software.
• Demonstrate strong customer and cross-functional relationship skills.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Catia V5.
• Knowledge in packaging study and master section creation.
• Experience in the design and development of interior trims and exterior sheet metal parts.
• Ability to identify and resolve design-related issues.
• Understanding of prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
• Proficiency in Team Center and Vismockup.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in V6/3DX.
• Knowledge in benchmarking and cost reduction.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
